Join us for a screening of ‘Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf’ (2018) as part of our event series, ‘How Gardens Shape Us,’ at Hauser & Wirth Somerset.Directed and produced by Thomas Piper, the documentary immerses viewers in renowned landscape designer Piet Oudolf’s work and takes us inside his creative process. From his aesthetic theories and abstract sketches, to the ecological implications of his ideas, the documentary poetically reveals how Oudolf upends conventional notions of nature, public space, and ultimately, beauty itself.
The screening will take place in the Bourgeois Gallery, with seats being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the screening will start promptly at 6 pm.

Tickets are free, but we welcome donations to our 2026 – 2027 charity partner. Advance booking is essential. This event is open to all, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
The gallery will close at 5 pm, but the garden will remain open late until 6 pm. Da Costa will be taking dinner reservations until 9.30 pm. You are welcome to purchase drinks beforehand to enjoy during the screening, but we cannot permit red wine in the gallery.
