About this Event
Nature Bruton highlights and supports the amazing nature-positive work taking place locally, helping to people to connect to, and care for, nature more deeply. What happens when we begin to see our creativity not as something that belongs only to us, but as part of the creativity of the living world?
Join ecological artist and WELL SPACE founder Anna Murray for an talk and community gathering exploring creativity, intuition, nature and purpose in times of change.
Anna will share her own meandering creative journey, from co-founding PATTERNITY and working within the worlds of design, culture and global brands, to gradually placing nature, ritual and ecological connection at the centre of her practice.
Drawing on the creation of The Waters Are Speaking and more than a decade of following wells, springs, rivers and water rituals, Anna will explore the ancient well as a symbol for communal creativity: a place to gather, replenish, listen and return to source.
Through stories, images and simple reflections, we’ll explore what it means to trust the less linear paths of a creative life, listen to intuition, deepen our relationship with place, and recognise that our own creativity is inseparable from the creativity of nature.
This is a chance to drop in, be inspired and connect with others asking similar questions about their creative lives and work.
At a time of profound ecological and cultural change and uncertainty, creatives have an important role to play as sense-makers, storytellers, artists, activists and ambassadors for the living world.
Come away with new questions, practical ideas for weaving nature, listening and simple ritual into your own creative practice, and space to reconnect with the deeper purpose beneath what you create and make.
