About this Event
Experience the magic of the Festival of Black Dolls—vendors, workshops, music & more! Theme: Celebrating HERstory; We are Living Legends.
Celebrate culture, creativity, and community at the Annual Festival of Black Dolls Show & Sale at the African American Museum & Library in Oakland! This year’s theme honors music and artistry with an inspiring lineup. The raffle doll is one of two exclusive dolls honoring a true musical legend, Chaka Khan (who was gifted the second doll)! Explore unique creations from talented doll vendors, enjoy hands-on workshops, browse the doll boutique, and be captivated by a special performance from Oaktown Jazz Workshops at 1pm. With delicious food from Ains Kitchen, refreshing drinks, and more, it’s a vibrant celebration for all ages!
Reserve your complimentary tickets online, at the door, and donations can be accepted too! Raffle tickets can be purchased at theABBDA.com!
Taking BART is highly recommended—enjoy free shuttle service from 12th St., 19th St., and West Oakland BART stations directly to the museum.
