Oakland, film night is back—and you picked a classic. We’re thrilled to host our next ReelVotes screening at The New Parkway Theater on Tuesday, October 27th featuring Larry Clark’s Kids (1995)—the top vote-getter from our latest community poll!
We believe movie nights should build community, so we are proud to co-host this screening with Oakland’s own FentCheck.
Before the lights go down, FentCheck co-founder Alison Heller will lead a brief, hands-on harm reduction workshop at 9:00 PM covering:
How to use fentanyl test strips
How to safely administer Narcan to save a life
Whether you go to local shows, hang out downtown, or simply want to keep your neighbors safe, this is a quick, welcoming, and judgment-free session to pick up essential skills and free supplies.
Where: The New Parkway Theater (474 24th St, Oakland)
When: Tuesday, October 27th 9:00 PM – Live FentCheck Demo + Kids (1995) Screening
