From November 4th-November 30th, you may choose to add $10 or $20 to your transaction to help feed South Dakotans in need. The Sioux Falls Food Co+op will MATCH monetary donations during this time. At the end of this timeframe, we will use all of the funds raised to purchase nonperishable Field Day items at our cost from our purveyor and 100% of that food will be given to Feeding South Dakota.
$1 = 3 WHOLE MEALS to those in need - our children, our friends, our neighbors
More than 113,000 people in South Dakota, including one in five children, are food insecure, meaning they lack consistent access to enough food for every person in their household to live an active, healthy life, according to Feeding South Dakota.
At the store, we have little coupon-sized flyers that you can grab while you’re shopping. When you’re ready to check out at the registers, present the flyer to a cashier and the $10 or $20 chosen donation will be added to your transaction.
