Join the Galloway & Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Partnership, Propagate and National Farmers Union Scotland for our 4th collective knowledge-sharing event looking at how farming can be good for both nature and improve farm resilience.
We'll be exploring themes of:
Sustainability - what does sustainable farming mean in different contexts? What are some of the lessons farmers have learned along the way?
Supply Chains - we need to be more food secure. How can our farming systems respond to future shocks from climate, conflict, cyber-attack and other crisis?
Data - how can data be a tool for farmers - what data is useful, what does it mean and how can it lead to effective action for more resilient farming?
Chaired as always by Dumfriesshire farmer and former NFUS President Andrew McCornick - we will be joined by speakers from the farming community and industry, from Dumfries and Galloway and further afield.
