Why The Life Skills Weekend Matters
It creates a positive, practical space for youth, families, law enforcement, prosecutors, and the community to connect outside of moments of crisis. The event focuses on building trust, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful conversations between youth and law enforcement.
Saturday students will gain valuable career-readiness skills, including resume writing, interviewing, confidence, and professional presentation. Parents will receive tools to have productive conversations with their children about law enforcement, safety, and their rights.
Sunday we celebrate youth achievement through 5-on-5 basketball, a free-throw contest, and more... all while enjoying free food, fun, competition, music, prizes, and more! 🏀🔥
The goal is simple: build relationships, equip youth, empower families, strengthen community trust, and celebrate excellence.
