About this Event
On Saturday, March 7, join us for a joyful, low-pressure Family Book Launch Day celebrating the release of I Will Always Choose You—a children’s book about love, reassurance, and the families who show up for us.
This event is designed as a gentle, welcoming family day, especially for families navigating non-traditional structures, absent parents, blended households, and chosen family. A day without stigma, labels, or explanations required.
This is a FREE event. Registration helps us plan materials, food, and activities.
What to Expect
Families can come and go as they please and enjoy:
• A live reading of I Will Always Choose You by author Felicia Penza
• Family yoga + movement
• Arts & crafts + pot painting
• Karaoke / sing-alongs
• A family dance party
• Family portrait area (all families welcome—chosen family encouraged)
• A mini family resource fair
There will also be:
• Cold brew coffee cart
• Food available through pre-order
• Phoenix Public Library Bookmobile
• Optional family therapy sessions (advance sign-up required)
