Community Agreements
Ingenuity strives to create safe spaces where folks can engage with mutual care, understanding and boundaries. Our community agreements are intended to honor this important value so that we are practicing behaviors we would want our students to experience.
Engage with purpose and center students. Lean into the work and come from a place that centers Chicago Public School students.
Practice curiosity and flexibility. We’re here to build understanding, not win arguments. Stay open to learning, change, and new ideas.
Bring your full self. Your voice, perspective, and lived experience matter.
Create a safe space for sharing. Listen deeply, speak honestly, and honor what’s shared.
Grow together. Reflect, revise, and keep shaping how we work as a community.
Honor trust and accountability. Keep what’s shared in confidence and carry forward what we learn together.
Protect the space and each other. Be mindful of your identity and societal power in this space and name/interrupt harmful behaviors.
