Fall Equinox at The Sacred Woods
Fall has a way of asking us to slow down a little.
So we’re spending an afternoon at The Sacred Woods doing exactly that.
This is a small, cozy gathering for those who want a few hours away from the usual noise and expectations. You don’t need to arrive feeling peaceful. You don’t need to know anything about yoga, sound baths or animal archetypes. You definitely don’t need to be in your healing era.
Come tired. Come curious. Come exactly as you are.
We’ll move slowly through the afternoon with yin yoga, time with the rescued animals who call The Sacred Woods home, a meditative walk through the autumn forest, an immersive sound experience and a nurturing touch and therapeutic hair brushing circle.
And because being outside in the fall should involve something warm to eat, we’ll share seasonal soup with dipping bread and a little something sweet.
What the afternoon will include
Yin Yoga
Slow, grounding movement with plenty of time to settle into each pose. No yoga experience needed.
Animal Archetype Experience
We’ll spend time with some of the rescued animals at The Sacred Woods and explore the different qualities we notice in them and what we might recognize in ourselves. Nothing to get right, just a unique and beautiful way to connect with the animals and each other.
Forest Bathing
A slow, meditative walk through the autumn woods. Time to notice what’s around you and breathe some fresh air.
Immersive Sound Journey
Get comfortable and cozy while sound and vibration fill the space. You can simply lie down, close your eyes and rest.
Nurturing Touch & Therapeutic Hair Brushing
A gentle community circle with soft touch and therapeutic hair brushing. Everything is optional and consent-based. You can participate in whatever way feels comfortable to you, including simply receiving or observing.
Seasonal Soup & Sweets
We’ll gather over a cozy seasonal soup with dipping bread and something sweet.

There are only 10 spots for this gathering. Keeping it small gives us room to move slowly, spend time together and let the afternoon unfold without feeling crowded or rushed.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move and relax in and dress for the fall weather. We’ll be spending time both indoors and outside in the woods.
This isn’t about becoming a better version of yourself before you leave.
It’s just an afternoon in the woods with good people, animals, movement, sound, warm food and a little room to exhale.
The Sacred Woods is an inclusive, welcoming space and this gathering has been intentionally curated for women and gender-diverse folks.
