Everyday Care Essentials
Practical Skills for Safer, More Confident Care
Caregiving often comes with moments that make you wonder, “Is this normal? Should I be worried? What am I supposed to do?”
Join us for Everyday Care Essentials, an interactive session of The Care Academy focused on practical skills that can help you feel more prepared and confident when caring for an elder, family member, friend, or neighbor.
In this session, you will:
- 🩹 Learn how to recognize when changes in skin or wounds may need urgent attention
- 💊 Understand basic Medic*tion safety and simple ways to keep medications organized
- 🗓️ Create easy, visual daily routines that can support elders experiencing memory challenges
- 💜 Build confidence knowing when something may require additional help
Through demonstrations, real-life examples, and hands-on activities, we’ll take some of the mystery out of everyday caregiving and focus on simple things you can actually use at home.
You don’t have to know everything to provide good care. Knowing what to notice, what to organize, and when to ask for help is a great place to start.
Come learn, practice, ask questions, and add a few more tools to your caregiving toolbox.
