About this Event
Ann Gish has been making some of the world's most beautiful bed and bath textiles since 1991. This fall, in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the house released a collection drawn directly from the Met's textile archives. Each piece carries the weight of a museum object and the softness of something you'd want against your skin.
Jane Gish leads the house today, and she is coming to Scheuer Linens to walk us through the collection in person. She'll share the stories behind the pieces: which archives she drew from, how the collaboration came together, and how each textile made its way from a museum vault to the bed.
The afternoon is also a working session for the designers and architects we work with. We'll cover practical questions about how these pieces belong in your clients' homes as the year turns.
You'll leave with:

- Confident layering techniques for luxury bedding
- A framework for transitioning bedding and layering from fall to winter
- A working knowledge of Ann Gish materials, weaves, and care
- AIA CEU credit for licensed architects (registered)
