Estuary Dreams: Basildon Nights is a three night event bringing together cinema, live music, performance and poetry across South Essex. Curated by award winning Basildon filmmaker Aaron Shrimpton, the series celebrates the depth and range of contemporary creative practice in the region, moving from screen to stage to spoken word across three distinct evenings.

Our second evening, Sound & Visuals, is a celebration of creative experimentation, an opportunity to experience live art in a way that is immersive, adventurous and unforgettable.
Sound + Visuals brings together experimental music videos, short films and live performances accompanied by striking visual elements, creating a multi sensory journey through contemporary creative practice, where sound and image come together in unexpected ways.
Curated by Basildon filmmaker Aaron Shrimpton, this event explores the rich relationship between audio and moving image, showcasing artists who blur the boundaries between music, cinema and visual art. Expect atmospheric projections, innovative performances and cinematic moments that transform the venue into a vibrant landscape of light, sound and imagination.
