About this Event
ESL 2 is designed for students who have had previous experience with the English language and are comfortable holding extended conversations on familiar topics in varied tenses. This course will primarily focus on developing your verbal communication, but also cover reading skills, lisening comprehension, and pronunciation. You will also be introduced to cultural highlights specific to American culture. The textbook used for this course is "World Link 2", which can be ordered at the above link. Students are required to purchase the textbook and have it with them for every lesson. The course will cover three units in the book. Course Goals Improve speaking skills: Engage in conversations on familiar topics, express opinions, describe experiences and events using simple and connected language. Expand vocabulary: Acquire a wider range of vocabulary related to everyday topics and specific areas of interest.
