We’ll kick things off at Havana Coffee Works, head to Wellington Chocolate Factory for a hands-on chocolate-making session, then finish the afternoon over lunch and a yarn with the team at Fork & Brewer.
Programme
8.00am – Havana Coffee Works
Coffee and cabinet food to start the day.
9.00am–10.00am – Havana Coffee Works tour and chat
A behind-the-scenes look at Havana Coffee Works, with the chance to hear from the team and learn more about the business.
10.30am–1.00pm – Wellington Chocolate Factory
A hands-on chocolate-making class at Wellington Chocolate Factory.
1.15pm–3.00pm – Fork & Brewer
Lunch and a relaxed yarn with the Fork & Brewer crew to wrap up the day. Fork and Brewer are two-time NZ Champion Small Brewery winners 2018 & 2019 and champion micro brewery 2024
This PD day is for AWDT Escalator alumni and is designed to be informal, practical and social — with plenty of opportunity to reconnect, share ideas and enjoy some of Wellington’s best food and beverage businesses.
