We are delighted to welcome Bob Hartman to the Diocese of Manchester for an inspiring evening exploring The Power of the Story.
Bob Hartman is an ordained minister, professional storyteller, and award-winning author of more than 100 books. For over 30 years, he has helped people of all ages engage with the Bible and discover the God who inspires its story.
During the evening, Bob will share stories, offer practical insights into communicating God's story across the generations, and answer questions.
This event is open to clergy, children's and youth workers, and anyone passionate about sharing faith and helping others engage with God's story.
EQUIP Spotlight comprises three or four specialised events held throughout the year, designed to deepen and expand understanding around specific areas of ministry with children, young people and families. These events serve clergy and youth and children's workers, both paid and volunteer. By hosting these gatherings in various locations across the diocese, we strive to maximise participation and accessibility for all.
Led by field experts, these events aim to inspire and equip participants while opening doorways to further training opportunities. Each session addresses topics relevant to current church challenges in discipleship and evangelism, providing practical wisdom and fresh perspectives. We're proud that these events consistently attract more than 70 participants, creating valuable networking spaces where ministry leaders can share experiences and vision.
