About this Event
My Kapa (Hawaiian bark cloth) journey is about reconnecting with my cultural heritage.
The process dates back to when I first left my native Hawai'i in 1982 and began in earnest when I was researching family history and connecting to my paternal grandmother who is native Hawaiian.
I look forward to sharing my journey, Kapa work I have created along the way, and my latest Kapa where I introduce my latest applications and techniques.

SCHEDULE:
1:00-1:15pm: Guests arrive and enjoy light refreshments.
1:15-2:00pm: Stewart shares his journey, followed by Q&A.
2:00-3:00pm: Open House, drop-in to mingle amongst the art and visit with the artist!
