Catch the international space folk band Electric Blue Yonder on a special intimate stop at The Screen Door Room at Cecil T's Mercantile, Saturday, October 10th at 7pm. The band recently returned from a successful run in the UK gracing the stages of Birmingham Symphony Hall and Maverick Festival, and now they are back working their way around the Southeast. See them live in a limited seating setting as they make their way from Moonshadow Tavern In Tucker, GA on their way to play the Official Afterparty for Phish at Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, AL on Sunday night. This is a unique opportunity to catch a rising star on their journey to greatness. Electric Blue Yonder is a Space Folk band from Montgomery, AL and based in Key West that infuses roots inspired music with 60's Rock, Surf, and Psychedelia. Co-fronted by Beth Hataway and Johnny Veres, the band features soaring harmonies that deliver thoughtful lyrics over progressive instrumentation and intricate guitar work; exuding the most vital of vibrations. Music for humans, by humans, the band rejects to constrains placed by the digitization of the music industry, streaming platforms, and their tech bro overlords. Instead, they write songs that take you places, they create moments we can share in, and they emit a healing sound for our weary souls.
