About this Event
Orlando, let’s give thanks through movement, connection, and a community potluck! 💚
Join Dance Church Orlando on Sunday, November 15th, at Community Center 729 for a sober celebration of dance, gratitude, and togetherness.
This isn’t a traditional church or religious organization. It’s a welcoming space to move freely, release stress, meet new people, and feel at home as you are.
Everyone is welcome: conscious dance lovers, sober-curious souls, families, and anyone ready to dance and connect.
🍂 Community Potluck: Bring a dish to share and let’s gather around the table after moving together! Whether homemade or store-bought, your contribution is welcome.
Bring your friends, bring your kiddos, and come celebrate the magic of community.
Move together. Give thanks. Share a meal. 💃🏽🍁
Guest DJ: Antonia Rivano , DJ & Founder of Tun Tun Sounds Orlando
After having my son, I found myself with a little more space to explore the parts of myself that had been put on pause. That’s when I started dabbling back into music. What began as me simply reconnecting with something I had always loved slowly became something much bigger.
DJing opened up an entirely new form of expression for me. I went through different sounds and different versions of myself before finding my way toward house, tribal, percussive, hypnotic, and organic music the kind of music you don’t just hear, you feel in your body.
There have been some really difficult chapters in my life. Moments where I felt lost, moments where I had to question everything, and moments where I had to choose myself even when it was painful.
Becoming a mother changed me profoundly, but it also reminded me that there were still parts of myself I wanted to discover.
That’s where TUN TUN came from. It feels like a reunion with a part of myself that has always been there. It’s more than an event or a music project. It’s my way of bringing together music, movement, culture, community, ancestry, and the parts of myself that I’ve carried since I was a little girl.
