Dyeing workshop to dye for!
Create your own beautiful hand-dyed cotton stole using the tie-and-dye, Japanese Shibori dyeing technique. We’ll introduce you to the foundations of Shibori (resist dyeing) through four traditional techniques: folding, tying, clamping, and stitching.
These techniques are surprisingly easy to learn, with several different permutations and combinations. You can never go wrong, so no stress, you will be walked through every step of the process. Once your creation emerges from the dye pot, it’s mesmerising to watch the patterns unfold into unique designs.
During this workshop, you will:
