"Lunchtime with Grandma is the second chapter of Living the Dream with Grandma, presented at the previous dunaPart. In the midst of the Covid pandemic and his own crisis of self-awareness, 35-year-old László Göndör moved in with his 97-year-old Holocaust survivor grandmother, Éva Katona. The first part comprised their conversations from then, a unique duet about their final time together. The radical minimalism of the second part is no less painful and poetic while leaving no less room for laughter, while it can also be understood as a counterpoint to the first part. We listen to the entire audio recording of the lunch the grandmother and grandson shared on 22 December 2020, fragments of which were used in the first part, the title now also evoking the first Hungarian happening. Éva Katona is once again present only in her voice, but now Göndör himself also takes a step back. The Shoah, however, comes to the fore: this time, Éva Katona tells her grandson and the audience about this period and her unique philosophy of life in an immersive soundscape composed by Márk Bartha. The backdrop is the view from the Budapest flat; vehicles come and go, the sun slowly sets. With its disconcerting intimacy, Lunchtime with Grandma speaks as intensely as the first chapter about the close and heartrending relationship of two people." (Noémi Herczog, curator)

„Az Ebéd az előző dunaParton is bemutatkozott Nagymamával álmodtam második fejezete. A Covid járvány és saját önismereti válsága kellős közepén az akkor 35 éves Göndör László beköltözött 97 éves holokauszt-túlélő nagymamája, Katona Éva otthonába. Akkori beszélgetéseikből készült az első rész, egy különleges duett az utolsó közös időről. A második rész radikális minimalizmusa nem kevésbé fájdalmas és költői, de még nevetésre sem ad kevesebb okot, miközben az első rész negatívjaként is felfogható. Nagymama és unokája 2020. december 22-i ebédjének az első részben csak töredékeiben felhasznált, teljes hangfelvételét végighallgatjuk, a címmel az első magyar happeninget is megidézve. Katona Éva ismét csak hangján keresztül van jelen, de most maga Göndör is hátralép. Előtérbe kerül viszont a vészkorszak: Katona Éva ezúttal erről és sajátos életfilozófiájáról mesél unokájának és a nézőknek a Bartha Márk által komponált immerzív hangtérben. Előttünk a budapesti lakásból nyíló kilátás, járművek jönnek-mennek, végignézzük, ahogy lemegy a nap. Az ebéd az első részhez mérhető erővel, mert ismét zavarba ejtő személyességgel beszél két ember szoros, megindító kapcsolatáról.” (Herczog Noémi, kurátor)
