SATURDAY 28 NOVEMBER - DOUBLE BAY CHRISTMAS FESTIVALThe countdown to Christmas begins in spectacular style on Saturday, 28 November, when the Double Bay Christmas Festival takes over Steyne Park with an unforgettable day of family fun, festive magic, and world-class entertainment.
Headlining the celebrations are some of Australia's most-loved performers — Conrad Sewell, Paulini, Shannon Noll, Hugh Sheridan and Harlan Goode — plus the All-Star Carols Band and many more, joined by up-and-coming artists who will bring the festive sparkle with Christmas favourites and feel-good hits.
Expect a free Christmas concert that's bursting with energy, sing-along carols, and performances guaranteed to get everyone dancing under the stars. At 3pm, the spotlight shines on local talent before the concert begins at 6pm sharp.
Get ready to sing along to some of Australia’s biggest hits, including Conrad Sewell’s global smash “Firestone” with Kygo and “Healing Hands,” plus Shannon Noll’s iconic anthem “What About Me.” Add in dancefloor favourites and much-loved Christmas classics, and it’s set to be a night of music the whole family can sing, dance and celebrate along to.
Last years festival was a huge success. Thousands of people enjoyed over 100 market stalls during the day and stayed on to party with some of Australia's biggest artists by night, including Sheppard, Dami Im, Hugh Sheridan and many others who performed in front of more than 10,000 people on the lawns of Steyne Park.
"I heard the Double Bay Christmas Festival was huge last year, so I am pumped to come and bring home the fireworks for 2027." Said, Conrad Sewell.
This year, festivities kick off at midday with a buzzing market curated by Cambridge Markets, the East's largest Christmas market and the ultimate place to tick off your festive shopping. Browse beautiful gifts from local traders and unique artisans, with everything from fashion, jewellery and homewares to seasonal treats and essentials like gingerbread houses, wreaths, bon bons and wrapping paper. Indulge in international cuisine and mouth-watering desserts, while the little ones enjoy fun rides, a free petting farm, giant bubbles, a puppet show, carollers and a special appearance by Santa.
Guests can sprawl out on picnic rugs, sip festive drinks and cocktails from the fully licensed bar, and sample a mouthwatering range of food from local vendors. And just when you think the magic couldn't get any brighter — the night sky will erupt with a dazzling fireworks spectacular over Double Bay, capping off a perfect festive celebration.
More than just an event, the Double Bay Christmas Festival is becoming a Christmas tradition, where community, music, markets, and magic come together to welcome in the holiday season in true Sydney style.
