Do you miss carefree drawing? Join the easiest analogue hobby there is: pick up a pen and start doodling your life.
This monthly visual journaling workshop leads you through doodling exercises and prompts to capture your everyday thoughts and experiences. Sessions are led by Natalie Beale (), an SE-based artist and illustrator, and all materials are provided.
Doodle Your Life is an relaxed group session for anyone with mark-making experience (i.e. everyone). We will start with quick doodling warm-ups followed by journaling exercises to capture your week on paper. You will leave with a mini visual journal and ideas to keep drawing.
Make pen and paper a part of your life - interrupt the instinct to reach for your phone. Get tips for a doodling routine: to capture and preserve your observations, memories, jokes and ideas in a sketchbook that is messy, human and personal.Paper, pens and pencils are provided. If you do have any notebooks, sketchbooks or unused pens lying around at home, feel free to bring them along - we will tackle those blank pages together!
House of Denna is a cozy community cafe dedicated to creative workshops. Hot and cold drinks are available to purchase and you are welcome to bring any snacks.
