The first of our Battersea Society Small Talks - an informal talk (with pictures to pass round) by local historian Jeanne Rathbone on Battersea Women of Sport. Find out about Sarah Mayer, the first non-Japanese woman to obtain a black belt in judo, Violet Perry the first woman to run a recorded marathon and English Lioness, Fara Williams - plus others.
