About this Event
Join us for “Don’t Pass on Your Heart Health: Real Stories. Real Talk. Real Impact.” An inspiring afternoon focused on heart health, organ donation, healthy living, and the power of community.
This special event will bring together community members, health advocates, transplant recipients, and special guests for meaningful conversations about taking charge of your health and understanding the impact of heart disease and organ donation. Through real-life stories, education, and open discussion, attendees will hear firsthand experiences that highlight resilience, prevention, recovery, and the importance of making informed health decisions.
The program will feature:
- A former professional basketball player and heart transplant recipient
- A hip-hop icon, health advocate, and co-founder of Hip Hop Public Health
- An R&B singer and heart transplant recipient
- A special film screening featuring real stories and real lives, made possible by BridgeBio
- Health education, community resources, and opportunities to connect with local organizations
