Celebrate Diwali with the Sikh/ Punjabi community in Leith, Edinburgh
You and your family/ friends are welcome to join the Sikh/ Punjabi community in Leith, Edinburgh at the Gurdwara as they celebrate Diwali - Bandi Chhor Divas for Sikhs and the festival of lights for Hindus.
Please arrive at 6pm on Sunday 8th November at the main entrance to meet Pall Singh from Building Bridges who will guide you through the visit. There will be an opportunity to experience part of the service, then to go and light a candle before having something to eat. The celebration will conclude with a firework display outside the Temple at around 8.30pm for those who wish to stay.
A head covering can be provided or please bring your own. Please cover your arms and legs before entering the Temple where you will need to remove your shoes.
