You’re nourishing your baby. But who’s nourishing you?
Pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, sleep deprivation, hormonal changes… your body has been through A LOT. And yet, somehow, toast and biscuits has become a food group of its own!
Join registered Nutritional Therapist and mum of a one-year-old, Norma, for a practical workshop on nourishing yourself through postpartum and beyond.
We’ll cover:
- The nutrients pregnancy and birth can deplete — and how to replenish them
- What your body needs during feeding (whether breast or formula feeding)
- Easy, nourishing meal & snack ideas, recipes and product recommendations
- How to fuel yourself when you’re exhausted and operating one handed
- Staying nourished as you start to think about the next chapter - nursery, returning to work and and establishing new routines
No complicated meal plans. No perfection. Just practical nutrition advice to help you feel a little more supported during one of the most demanding - and wonderful - chapters of motherhood.
Because to nourish baby, you need nourished too.
Please select the ticket that is right for you - the workshop is £12 to attend and your ticket price is redeemable against a 1:1 session with Norma. There are also limited supported tickets available funded by community donations to help you attend if cost is a barrier.
How to find us: Our main Hub is at the Lochend Road Hall of Leith St Andrew's, next to Leith Links (EH6 8HT) which has a mixture of free and paid on street parking (please double check signage). It is also accessible by buses stopping nearby at Duke Street, Easter Road and Leith Walk which is also the nearest tram stop.
Entry is via Lochend Road, enter the first pedestrian gate where there is step free access and a bell at the blue door at the entrance.
