About this Event

Deputy Andrien Meyers CC, Chair of the Lady Mayor and Sheriffs’ Committee, will host and chair Diversity in the Financial and Professional Services Sector, a panel discussion held on behalf of the Sheriff Elect of the City of London, Alderman Prem Goyal CBE.

The session brings together two leading voices on diversity and inclusion in financial and professional services for a conversation on progress, barriers and what more the sector can do.

This event brings together senior leaders from across the City to explore the state of diversity, equity and inclusion within financial and professional services. Drawing on decades of combined experience at the forefront of industry reform, our panellists will discuss the tangible progress made in gender and ethnic representation, the barriers that remain; including the growing pushback against DEI initiatives and practical steps organisations can take to build genuinely inclusive talent pipelines. The discussion will be followed by a networking reception, offering guests the opportunity to continue the conversation with the panel and fellow attendees.
