Bring your own dive gear, and lunch, towels, sun block and soft drinks etc.
We will be undertaking photography, photogrammetric modelling and underwater surveys as part of learning/practicing new skills, also for in-situ management purposes of the historic wrecksite for the WA Museum (and it’s a fun shore dive too!).
Make sure you come along to our general meeting on Tues 17th Nov to hear from experts the history of James Matthews (a purpose-built slave ship!), how it was found, excavated, surveyed, reburied, and then subsequently surrounded by a cofferdam to help protect it from seabed erosion. You will understand this unique and extraordinary underwater site much better if you do!
Details about that are here..

Reach out to Trevor on 0412971797 if you can.
Trevor will bring his boat and set up adjacent to the wrecksite for support and safety.
