Join us for one of Philadelphia's largest Día de los Muertos celebrations! Experience a full day of Mexican and Latin American culture, traditions, food, art, music, dance, and community in the heart of South Philadelphia.
Día de los Muertos is a centuries-old tradition honoring and celebrating loved ones who have passed. In Philadelphia, this tradition thrives through the city's vibrant Mexican community, many with roots in Puebla. This year, the Association of Mexican Business Owners of Philadelphia (AEM) and La Calaca Flaca, a Latinx-led volunteer committee, are joining forces to expand the celebration across South Philadelphia. Together, they bring community, culture, art, and local businesses into a shared celebration of life, remembrance, and tradition. The festivities are also part of PHL250, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States and Philadelphia's diverse cultural heritage.
