Somewhere in the near future there is a lab, or perhaps an office, where Isaac works as a technician fine-tuning The Machine, designed to help believers talk to God. Dora, a church volunteer, has been sent to assist Isaac in the final stages of development. What happens when two otherwise brilliant people are left alone with a machine they’ve designed to be manipulative? Why shouldn’t a machine be God?
