Behind the Chair — The Winter Runway Experience is an immersive beauty and runway showcase celebrating the artistry, creativity and talent behind hair and makeup.
Created by DesignzByKay Events, Behind the Chair brings hairstylists, makeup artists and models together to transform the runway into a visual storytelling experience.
Throughout the evening, guests will experience six creative chapters, each with its own mood, aesthetic and interpretation of winter:

Each chapter gives our hairstylists and makeup artists the opportunity to push their creativity, collaborate and bring their vision to life through their models.
This isn’t a traditional hair show or competition. Behind the Chair is a showcase. It’s about recognizing the creatives whose work happens behind the scenes and giving their artistry a runway of its own.
Expect an evening filled with beauty, fashion, music, creativity, Toronto culture, photo moments, cocktails, networking and an official after-party following the runway experience.
