Anders Carlson-Wee is the author of Disease of Kings (W.W. Norton, 2023), The Low Passions (W.W. Norton, 2019), a New York Public Library Book Group Selection, and Dynamite (Bull City Press, 2015), winner of the Frost Place Chapbook Prize. He is the editor of the anthology Best New Poets 2024. His work has appeared in POETRY, The Paris Review, The Washington Post, Harvard Review, BuzzFeed, American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Sun, The Southern Review, and many other publications. The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, Poets & Writers, the Camargo Foundation, Bread Loaf, Sewanee, and the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, he is the winner of the Poetry International Prize. His work has been translated into Chinese. Anders holds an MFA from Vanderbilt University.
Prageeta Sharma is the author of five poetry collections, most recently Grief Sequence, Undergloom and Infamous Landscapes. She is the founder of the conference Thinking Its Presence: An Interdisciplinary Conference on Race, Creative Writing, and Artistic and Aesthetic Practices. A recipient of the 2010 Howard Foundation Award and a finalist for the Poetry Society of America’s 2020 Four Quartets Prize, she has taught at The New School for Social Research, Goddard College, the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and the University of Montana, and is now the Henry G. Lee ’37 professor of English at Pomona College. Sharma received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts in 2025.
Mandy Kahn is the author of three poetry collections. Her work has been included in the Best American Poetry anthology, and she’s given poetry readings at the Getty Museum, MOCA, and Cambridge University. She’s been interviewed on BBC Radio and has been profiled in the magazines Flaunt, Issue and Malibu. In addition to writing books, she makes performance-based works that combine poetry with musical technique; those works are the subject of the feature-length documentary Peace Piece: The Immersive Poems of Mandy Kahn, which is distributed by IndiePix and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Kahn has received poetry commissions from the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, the Craft and Folk Art Museum, Black Mountain Institute, the Getty Museum, and Bridge Projects. In April of 2026, she and her work were featured on a billboard in celebration of National Poetry Month. She has been a guest on BBC Radio’s premiere poetry program The Verb, has been interviewed by The Los Angeles Review of Books, and was selected for German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung’s feature on ten cultural figures based in Los Angeles.

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for PRS events. If an event is cancelled entirely, tickets will be refunded or vouchers will be offered for a rescheduled event, and ticket holders will be notified.
PARKING
We encourage attendees to consider carpooling, walking or biking to events if possible, and please be considerate of our Los Feliz neighbors when parking. Street parking is available on Griffith Park Blvd. and (after 7 PM) on Los Feliz Blvd. Limited parking is available onsite at PRS in the front lot (entry from Los Feliz Blvd. when heading east). PRS EVENT POLICIES
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
- Events are subject to change without notice, including guest speakers and/or performers.
- We encourage you to arrive at least 30 min. before the scheduled event start time to find parking, enjoy the Bookstore and take your seats.
- Please turn off all mobile devices before the show. Talking and texting are not allowed during the events.
- No filming, audio recording or mobile phone recording of events, screenings, concerts or other programs by audience members is allowed without permission.
- There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.
- We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- PRS allows Service Animals into the facility under ADA and state guidelines. For further details please visit www.ADA.gov. No animals permitted whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, under ADA guidelines and CA Health Code.
- Please do not bring outside food or drink into PRS events.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited at PRS events.
