Fast, heavy, fun, and emotive, their live shows are not to be missed.
SEISMIC STATE are high-octane alt-rock with a blues-funk soul. A staple of the New Zealand rock circuit, the Wellington quartet is known for a professional, high-energy live show. Since the release of their debut EP State of Things, which earned international airplay and a Top 58 spot on The Generator FM’s Kiwi 101, the band has consistently anchored bills at iconic venues including San Fran and Valhalla.
STEERPYKE are a three-piece band playing a mix of originals and off-beat covers in and around the darker end of the post-punk genre. Formed in Wellington during COVID19, Nigel Baxter (bass, vox) and Adam Gray (guitar, vox) originally met on a Weekend Warriors session. James Gilberd, drummer and stalwart of the local alternative music scene, joined in 2023. They reached the regional finals of Battle of the Bands in 2026.
