About this Event

Data Deep Dive into Housing Affordability and Neighborhoods

Join us at the Indianapolis Public Library – Central Library for a free, in-person Data & Drafts event exploring how to turn housing affordability and neighborhood data into meaningful insights.

Using housing affordability and neighborhood data as a real-world example, this session will demonstrate how to assess data quality and limitations and use open-source tools to explore and analyze data. Designed for experienced data users and the data-curious alike, the session will highlight practical approaches you can apply to the datasets and questions most relevant to your own work.

What to Expect

  • A practical demonstration using housing affordability and neighborhood data
  • An introduction to open-source tools and approaches for exploring data
  • Time to ask questions and discuss how these approaches can transfer to your own data

Data & Drafts is designed to be conversational and engaging, with space to dig into how data and analytical tools can be used in practice.
