DARRYL RAHN
Darryl Rahn is a New York-based singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends indie folk, Americana, and alt-country with a strong emphasis on narrative songwriting. A longtime working musician, Rahn has been writing and recording since his teens and has shared stages with artists including Guster, Wild Child, moe., and Hudson Taylor. His songwriting draws from artists like John Prine and Andy Shauf, pairing conversational, character-driven lyrics with warm acoustic arrangements and a distinct vocal style.
A songwriter, producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist, Rahn has spent years moving fluidly between the studio and the stage, both as a solo artist and collaborator. His latest record, Darryl, released in 2026, is a fully self-produced nine-song collection that distills his approach to its essentials: intimate vocals, textured acoustic arrangements, and stories that reveal more with every listen. Across a growing catalog that includes Adult Small, Going Steady, The Mend, and Dusk, Rahn has developed a sound that feels simultaneously nostalgic and immediate—music for sitting with the details, letting a song unfold, and finding something familiar in the unfamiliar.
