Learn how to use fair trade Indian wood blocks in the beautiful setting of The Walled Garden in Little Plumstead. You will be supported at each step of the way by Eleanor, the owner of Creative Planet, who is an Indian Block Print Company certified trainer. At this workshop you will use tile and other blocks to create repeat patterns to print an eco friendly kitchen cloth and a fabric cushion cover. This workshop is suitable for beginners or experienced printers.
We start the afternoon practising our printing technique on paper and fabric using a variety of designs and paint colours. When you are happy with your choices, you can then print your items to take home with you.
These workshops are suitable for for adults and young people aged 12 and over. Your £40 price includes all materials and equipment and a £10 donation to The Walled Garden.
