About this Event
Participants will develop their singing skills and work towards a performance of a popular piece of music. No experience required!
This experience is intended for everyone, whatever their singing background. Many people have lost the singing habit, and our host choir will give all the encouragement that's needed to find your voice! The focus of the event is on bringing the group together for a shared musical experience, and our leaders will be helping with elements of posture and use of the body as well as musical themes including pitch, rhythm and vocalisation. However inexperienced you feel at singing, this will be a lovely session that'll leave you feeling enriched and enlivened, and will be a confidence boost to go and find your own regular choir!
Located in the heart of Cambridge, the University Arms is the city’s oldest hotel, offering a vibrant, contemporary setting with historic character. The event will be hosted in the The Crick Room. Named after Francis Crick, who made the groundbreaking discovery of the structure of DNA here in Cambridge in 1953, the room offers an elegant and characterful environment.
Ticket includes one glass of prosecco or a soft drink on entry.
Participants must be over the age of 18.
