A very big welcome to both the newcomers and to the existing participants in this series of uplifting events. The various sessions are based on Biodanza (from the Greek bio [life] and Spanish danza [dance]). Biodanza is a self-development system created by Chilean anthropologist Rolando Toro Araneda in the 1960s. It uses music, movement, and group interaction to improve self-awareness, emotional expression, and well-being. It is often described as "The Dance of Life".

And we are sorry but It has become necessary to increase the cost to £8 per session to cover the cost of hiring the hall.

  • “Dance for yourself. If someone else understands, good. If not, no matter. Go right on doing what interests you, and do it until it stops interesting you”…. Louis Horst (deceased), Composer and pianist who helped define the principles of modern dance choreographic technique … and obviously a giver of wise advice!
  • Reserve your spot. To book or if you have any queries, please ring or text Gail Stewart on 07726 360584 or email her at [email protected]
  • We look forward to being and sharing with you. Thank you.
  • PS.. and Yes, YOU can do it!

Dancing can improve your cardiovascular health, build strength, and enhance flexibility while simultaneously releasing endorphins that reduce stress and elevate mood. It also engages the brain, boosting memory and cognitive function through spatial awareness and movement coordination. These are surely great reasons to, at least, give it a try!
