WE'RE SEEKING
- Character Performers (Fully Costumed) — Height Range: 4'8"–5'11"
We're looking specifically for performers within the height range of 4'8" - 5'11"
HOW TO AUDITION (COSTUME CHARACTER PERFORMERS)
Step 1: RSVP
Reserve your audition spot on Eventbrite.
Step 2: Check In
Arrive promptly at your scheduled audition time to complete check-in.
Step 3: Movement Call
All prospective costumed character performers will learn and perform a short movement combination.
Step 4: Animation Call
All prospective costumed character performers will be given a animation scenario, given time to think about their choices, then perform the scenario.
Please wear:
- Comfortable clothing you can move in
- Closed-toe dance shoes, sneakers, or athletic shoes
Please do not wear:
- Jeans
- Socks only
- Heels
- Bare feet
Step 5: Show Us Your Talent
Following the movement call, you'll have up to 90 seconds to showcase your talent.
Examples include:
- Singing (no accompanist provided)
- Acting
- Comedy
- Puppetry
- Instrumental performance
- Dance
- Specialty skills
Afterwards, you may be excused or invited to attend a callback on October 13th, 6PM
What to Bring
- Headshot and resume (if available)
- Any materials needed for your individual talent presentation
- A positive attitude and plenty of energy!
Plan to stay for several hours.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- If selected, performers will be hired as COTALAND Employees and must complete all application, pre-employment, and onboarding requirements.
- This is a seasonal position for the holiday season. If selected, performers must be fully available for all rehearsals starting at the end of October and throughout the entire Peppermint In The Park offering dates. - Performers must be at least 18 years old
COMPENSATION
Performers and performer escorts will receive a rate starting at $20/hour.
