About this Event
Global mission has changed drastically since 1910, bring both blessings and new challenges. As the number of believers located in the Global South has increased, and the previous majority of the Western world has shifted to a more even spread across the continents, a new approach is required. Differences in worldviews and cultures provide opportunities to learn more about other believers and apply the call to follow Christ in ways unencumbered by Western cultural norms.
In Part 2 of his lectures on Contemporary Challenges in World Mission, Mark Pickett will continue to unpack current issues in mission and how they affect evangelism, discipleship, and the worldwide church.
Mark Pickett served most of his life in Southeast Asia and now lives in Wales. In partnership with UFM Worldwide, Mark and his wife Becky love to share the good news of Jesus and help others in cross-cultural ministry.
