We’re opening the doors to our home, Stepney Townhouse, for the sixth edition of our Considered Things pop-up shop.
About this Event

Considered Things Pop-up Shop at Stepney Townhouse

A thoughtful gathering of quietly distinctive antiques and vintage pieces, with texture, patina and an unpolished character. Sourced from around the world, the collection includes pottery, art, mirrors, small furniture, lighting and objects for the home.

We typically have over 200 pieces for sale, and most pieces can be carried home by hand. For larger items, we can arrange collection on the day or after the sale.

As before, visits are by free pre-booked time slot, helping us manage the flow of the day while giving you space and time to browse and buy.

See below for more details. We look forward to seeing you.

Visiting Us

Full address details will be shared with registered attendees ahead of the day. Our postcode is E1 4UJ.

Nearest stations: Stepney Green, Whitechapel and Bethnal Green.

Parking: Anchor Retail Park, E1. Please check signage for parking restrictions and time limits. It's usually two hours free.

The pop-up is in our double reception room on the raised ground floor. Please note there are several steps up to the house. See the access and safety information below before booking.

Before You Visit

  • One ticket admits one person. Please book only one time slot per person.
  • Entry is strictly by pre-booked time slot. Please arrive at your booked time.
  • Spaces are limited. If you can't attend, please cancel your ticket so someone else can visit.
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times, as the space includes fragile pieces and steps.
  • We're unable to offer house tours during the event.
  • Most pieces are vintage or antique, so patina and signs of age are to be expected. Please inspect items before buying; we're happy to answer questions about their condition.
  • Lamps made by Considered Things have been recently wired and tested. Other vintage lighting may not have been, and is sold as decorative and untested unless its label says it has been PAT tested or rewired. Please have any untested piece checked, or rewired if needed, by a qualified electrician before you use it. If you have questions about a piece, ask us and we'll tell you what we know.
  • Items are sold as seen. We don't accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
  • Payment accepted: cash, bank transfer and contactless.
  • We'll have recycled bags, boxes and wrapping available, but please bring your own bags if you can.

Payment, Reserving & Collection

  • Items can't be reserved without payment. Once you've paid, the piece is yours and we'll mark it as sold.
  • If you'd like to collect a larger item after the event, we'll hold it safely for you, at our risk, until collection. Please collect within 7 days by arrangement.
