New Zealand singer/songwriter Georgia Nott is known for her work in BROODS, the electronic project she started with her brother over a decade ago that has since grown into a global phenomenon. Maxing out at millions of monthly listeners on Spotify, BROODS has toured internationally as headliners and opened for pop titans like Taylor Swift, HAIM, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith and more. While BROODS remains an important feature of Nott’s life, she’s been quietly working on a solo project under the moniker Georgia Gets By for years.
Her debut EP, Fish Bird Baby Boy, was released in 2023 on Luminelle. Her latest, Heavy Meadow, was self-released this past June and is a dream collection reminiscent of acts like Azure Ray and Aimee Mann.
Tickets are limited to 40. Shows are general floor seating. We will have small, fold-out stools available. You can bring your own fold-out chair or pillow/cushion if you intend to sit on the floor.
This is the second Undertow show we’ve hosted at Ming Toy, which is located in Benson at 6066 Maple Street, right between Legend Comics and Au Courant. The first was a sold-out Eric Bachmann concert back in May 2024.
