In most cultures worldwide, singing is incorporated into every aspect of life. It IS a way of life. Singing while harvesting herbs, preparing food, celebrating the birth of a child , while loved ones are sick, and even death rituals include song as a way to strengthen community bonds.
Song Circles are about Group Participation. We will all take turns sharing and leading a song or chant, anything goes (Earth chants, camp songs, traditional folk tunes, plant songs or old gospel songs - just something catchy that everyone can easily follow).
No Singing Experience Required. The focus is on community connection, enjoyment, and self-expression rather than "polished" performance. Compost the notion of "I can't sing". You will be amazed at the beautiful harmonies that arise when group coherence kicks in !
