About this Event

Overview
Learn evidence-based strategies to build resilience, manage stress, and recover from life’s challenges, while supporting your overall wellbeing and sustainably integrating healthier habits into your week.

Community Corner is a service run by the NHS aiming to combat social isolation and help people to live well in their communities. Every Thursday at Violet Melchett we run activities to promote health and wellbeing.

This week, we welcome practitioners from Community Living Well – Building Resilience to lead a workshop focused on strengthening your ability to cope with stress, adapt to challenges, and maintain wellbeing. The session will explore practical, accessible ways to build resilience in everyday life. Hot drinks and refreshments will also be provided!

The workshop will cover:

  • What resilience is and why it matters for mental wellbeing
  • Practical strategies to manage stress and prevent burnout
  • Techniques to build emotional strength and improve coping skills
  • Simple ways to embed resilience-building habits into your daily routine

Join us to discover how developing resilience can help you feel more balanced, confident, and better equipped to navigate everyday challenges.

Please note we require attendees to complete a short form prior to starting the workshop, consisting of basic personal information and a brief mood assessment. This information is confidential and is not shared with any external parties. We can also provide this form in other languages if we are aware before the session.

Community Living Well is a community mental health service for Kensington & Chelsea, Queen’s Park and Paddington. To find out more visit https://communitylivingwell.co.uk/

Feel free to email us at [email protected] for more information about wellness events that we offer, or if you’d like to be signposted to other excellent services available in the community.

PLEASE ONLY BOOK IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND

The Community Corner team put a lot of effort into these events, alongside running a busy drop-in service. Whilst these events are free to attend, they are not free to run. If you can no longer attend, please let us know in good time so that we can offer these spaces to others.
