About this Event
Discover how to make beautifully fragrant handmade soaps with artist Emmerline Smy. Choose froma range of scents, textures, and colours to create unique soaps that are personal to you. At the end of the session you'll get to take them home to enjoy or gift them to a loved one.
There are two sessions running from 11am-1pm and 2-4pm. The workshop is suitable for 5-12 year-olds. Dress for mess!

Led by a professional artist with all materials provided, all you have to do is bring yourselves! Tickets also include free entry to the Museum so you can explore at your leisure.
About Emmerline Smy
Emmerline Smy works in art, craft, and creative learning under one unified practice. With a background in historic preservation and over a decade of teaching experience, she draws on history, decorative arts and material culture to inspire hands-on workshops in beadwork, ceramics, mixed media, and design. Her work explores the connections between objects, stories, and cultural history, encouraging participants to create with meaning and curiosity.
