About this Event
Parents with young babies are invited to special open hours to view the exhibition. The artist will give a brief talk about the exhibition and the impacts of parenting on her practice.
This is an oppurtunity for mothers and other parents with young babies to meet other local parents with similar interests, in a context that acknowledges the value of having children in gallery spaces but that is designed to provide an inclusive and open environment for new parents to engage with an exhibition.
The event will very much allow for (and welcome) the interruptions of early parenthood. Please arrive late if you need to, and don't feel you need to leave if your baby is upset.
The gallery is accessible from the street, and there will be buggy parking within the space.
The exhibition includes sound, which will be set to a lower level during the event. There are objects on the floor of the gallery.
