About this Event
Join photographer Luke Spencer for a collaborative zine-making workshop exploring our relationship to nature in a time of climate change and biodiversity loss.
Through guided reflection and discussion, participants will share memories of nature, consider the environmental changes noticed within local communities and explore how these changes make us feel. You'll then create and decorate your own eight-page zine using drawing, collage and creative writing in response to these feelings and ideas. After the first hour, there will be time to connect, reflect and share over soft drinks and snacks. Together, participants will come back together for the second hour to imagine positive changes that could support nature, both locally and collectively.
How to book
This workshop is is free to attend. Places are limited to 15 participants and advance booking is essential.
You’re welcome to bring your own photographs of memories or moments in nature to use to decorate your zine.
No previous art experience is needed.
