Maura will be sharing her knowledge and experience around leasehold, freehold and Right to Manage, including how leaseholders can take greater control of their buildings and ensure they are managed properly.
🎤 Meet Maura Walsh
Maura Walsh is Director of Your Home Now Ltd. She became an accidental landlord in 2008 and, since 2018, has built her own property portfolio, now worth around £5.5 million, through flat and HMO projects and business acquisitions.
Maura works with leaseholders rather than freeholders or managing agents, helping residents take control of their buildings through Right to Manage (RTM) and then run them effectively.
Her RTM companies cover blocks in Wallington, Mitcham and Croydon, and she has also helped leaseholders take control in Salford, Croydon and Gillingham, Kent.
In August 2026, Maura won a First-tier Tribunal service charge case for the Orford Court leaseholders, including a Section 20C order.
She was also a finalist for the Social Value Award at the National Property Awards 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from someone with practical experience of taking control of residential buildings and navigating the complexities that can come with leasehold management.
