Bring your metal jewelry to life with rich color and expressive surface design! In this all-skill-level class, students will explore a range of techniques to add color, depth, and personality to copper and other metals—no torch required.
We’ll use colored pencils, liver of sulphur (LOS) to create everything from rainbow hues to deep charcoal blacks, and other patinas to achieve beautiful, organic finishes. Learn how to use texturing techniques can enhance and emphasize patina effects.
Through hands-on experimentation, students will complete at least one finished piece of jewelry, and leave with foundational skills that can be expanded in future work.
All materials provided. No prior experience necessary—just bring your creativity!
